The Costarella Law Firm was founded under its current name in 1989 by Attorney Giuseppe Costarella, who had been practicing law since 1971 in the office of his father-in-law, Attorney Saverio Pittelli, who had been active since the late 1930s.
Attorney Fabrizio Costarella joined the firm in 2001, obtaining his license to practice before higher courts in 2016.
The firm's over twenty years of professional experience, therefore, adds to a long family history that began in 1907 with the great-grandfather, notary Luigi Buffetta.
Over the years, the firm has consistently been one of the most prestigious and active in the province of Catanzaro and, more recently, has established important collaborations with renowned professionals throughout Italy, handling cases of national importance.
As part of this professional growth, in 2024, Attorney Fabrizio Costarella was appointed Head of the National Observatory on Asset and Preventive Measures, within the Union of Criminal Chambers. In this role, alongside only five other Italian lawyers, he was tasked with drafting briefs for the UCPI before the European Court of Human Rights in major landmark cases.
